  • It's absolutely normally. Run CCleaner might slow down your computer sometimes but it will be ok then. you need to do nothing.

  • It is not CCleaner. There is something else writing data to your hard drive.
Open CCleaner and put a tic mark in all the boxes on the left side EXCEPT the last one "Wipe Free Space" That takes to long.
Then run CCleaner again and you will see what it deletes.

  • That's because Windows is constantly creating files for it's own use. That's what you use CCleaner for, to clean this crap that Windows is constantly creating.

  • Hi if it is the case and you want to increase the speed of your PC you can boost it with PC speed master, you can try it for free here: http://pcspeedmaster.com/?ap_id=ptfr

it will fix on the free version 25 errors and if you are happy you will be able to upgrade it to the premium version, I did it and I'm very happy

  • May be there are too many temp files on your computer thats bogging down CCleaner
Go to Search and select "all files and folders" then type *.temp
thats star dot temp ----you will get a list of all temp files---delete all in groups of ten to make it easy for the computer. There should be only left
    SET3.tmp
    SET4.tmp
    SET8.tmp
    Config.tmp
don't delete these 4 files as they are operating system files for Win XP
    Now use CCleaner again
