Why does Progsense not recognize sw updates I just made?

I loaded this Progsense (Recipester) sw yesterday. Based on its recommendation, I downloaded the latest Adobe reader and flash versions. But the flipping thing is STILL saying I need to upgrade to the latest version! Why is this so and how do I get around it?

There is something wrong. I just loaded and ran it, and it gave me some really far-out updates. So I started checking the software sites themselves, and found I was running the latest versions. ProgSense has some problems.
