Which computer setup will work best for me? 07/19/2011 04:26 by maxkitty: I run a lot of music programs for recording. I use FL studio and Adobe Audition as my workstations.

I need to know what components i need to focus on for the computer to ensure clear and clean music recording. I can't have crackling or lagging. I also run a lot of virtual instruments along with the recorded audio within FL studio. Would a dual core or a quad core be more efficient? If there is a PC laptop that someone wants to recommend that's under $900 that would suit my needs, please do. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
