When i log into my skype the blue circle to load my friends just keeps spinning and spinning and never goes away. So i cant call anybody!!!! what can i do!?

ive already redownloaded it and restarted my computer

  • Spinning circle appears to Skype while it's refresh your contact list or checking for your incoming messages. If it keeps spinning and never gone, connection error is the only point. the problem might be that your network can't connect to Skype, or Skype Server is crashed, things were blocking. Waiting is the suggestion.

    Also you can change the sever, on the skype "tools"-"options", find the connection, noted the connecting port and change it to your local connection port.

  • if skype blue circle keeps spinning and spinning, that means skype is trying to connect to internet but failed. Check your internet connection firstly.

    And also check your antivirus software to see if skype was blocked.

  • quit Skype completely then rename Skype folder under %appdata% to Skype.old.  Restart Skype and viola.

    When I turned off my blue tooth it immediately resolved the issue

  • I, went to appdate, changed "Skype" to "Skype.old" opened skype, Quit Skype, changed it back to just "Skype" accepted everythank, opened skype again, and boom

    i did this and after i did that it tells me "sorry we couldnt connect to skype
