If you create a support ticket on our website, in most cases our support team will ask you to send them your log files. Within these log files various connection- and software-problems are being protocolled.
Please note that we always need the event protocol of both partners. Aside from that we need the approximate time when the problem occurred.
Determine the storage location:
TeamViewer QuickSupport
Click on the tool kit symbol in the upper right corner
Click on the button Open Logfiles...
Please send us the file TeamViewerX_Logfile.log
TeamViewer full version + Host module
In the menu click on Extras and then on Open log files...
The Windows folder that contains the event protocol will be opened.
If you have already installed an older version of TeamViewer it is also possible to install TeamViewer 6 on the same computer without uninstalling the older version. To do this please uncheck the option Uninstall old version on installation of TeamViewer 6. If this is done you can use both versions of TeamViewer on the same computer. Please note that it is not possible to run two different versions of TeamViewer at the same time.

password are safe and none of the computers are infected especially with a key
