Open iTunes and navigate to the Account Settings area of the iTunes Store. Select "Change Credit Card" and select "None" to remove your credit card from your Apple ID iTunes account.
Change account information. Visit MyInfo. Change the information in your account. Unfortunately, most fields can not be left blank; so your best option is to alter the information, removing your personal details and replacing them with made-up information.
Abandon the account. If you were once active in the Apple Support forums, avoid logging in and participating in discussions any longer. Your discussions will not be deleted, but will eventually be archived and go dormant.
Contact Apple support. Speak with an expert. If all else fails or you need more concrete account deletion, contact Apple directly and explain to them your situation. Plead your case and they may be able to assist you in deleting the account or migrating the information over to a new account.
Back up the iPad via iTunes to ensure that critical data and settings on the iPad are preserved.
Download the jailbreak software from Spirit.
Quit iTunes on the computer.
Launch the downloaded Spirit jailbreak software and connect the iPad to the computer (if not still connected).
Click on the "Jailbreak" icon that is now clickable (on the computer) after connecting the iPad. The jailbreak process will begin automatically and will finish after it restarts the device.
Visit the websites for ImTOO MOV Converter and Ultra QuickTime Converter to review the specifications and choose which one best suits your needs. Make sure it is able to convert into your desired file format. These software programs also offer various editing capabilities, which may be helpful for your project.
Download and run the chosen software.
Select the file or files you would like to convert by clicking "Add Files" in the top toolbar.
Choose the file format you would like your file converted to. In ImToo, select from the Profile pull-down menu at the bottom of the window. In Ultra, select from the Output Format pull-down menu at the bottom of the window.
Choose a folder where you would like the converted files to be saved. In ImToo, select a folder by clicking in the Destination field at the bottom of the window. In Ultra, select a folder by clicking in the Output Folder field at the bottom of the window.
Click on "Convert" in the top toolbar.
Open a file uploading website on your Internet browser.
Click "Browse" on the homepage of your uploading website and use the pop-up menu to select your music or video file.
Click on the file and click "Open."
Click "Upload" once returned to the website page and allow your file to load onto the site and launch a new page.
Copy the embed code on the new page and paste it onto your website editor to host your player with the hidden HTML code.
Start the Yahoo Music Jukebox by clicking on your desktop shortcut icon or by clicking on its link in the Start Menu. If you haven't already done so, then you'll need to download and install Yahoo Music Jukebox from the Yahoo Music Web site.
Click the 'My Music' link in the navigation pane to open a list of albums. You can sort your music by song, artist, genre and more by clicking the 'Browse By' link and changing the sort parameters.
Click on the name of a song to play it, or simply right click it to bring up the context menu.
Scroll your mouse over the 'Add to...' menu option in the right click context menu and click 'A Playlist.'
Choose to add your song choice to a new playlist you are about to create by highlighting the 'Add to a New Playlist' button.
Give the playlist you're creating a name and press the 'OK' button. You can also cancel at this time if you've chosen the wrong song or changed your mind.
Add songs to this or other playlists from songs throughout your collection using the same steps.
Create new playlists from scratch by opening the 'File' menu and clicking on the 'Create a New Playlist' menu option. This will place a new playlist in the list and give you the chance to name it right away.
Go to the YouTube home page.
Click 'Log In' if you aren't already identified by the site. If you don't yet have an account, click 'Sign Up' and register before proceeding.
Find the 'My' heading and click 'Playlists.' A Playlist is similar to a Quicklist except that a Quicklist is temporary and isn't saved when you close your browser. A Playlist can be saved, manipulated and shared.
Select 'Create Playlist.'
Write a name, description and any tags you'd like to include for searching purposes.
Choose whether you want the Playlist to be public or private. A private list is shared only with other members you designate.
Click 'Save Playlist Info.'
Add as many Playlists as you choose.
Click the 'Videos' link from the Playlists page, or click the YouTube logo.
Browse through the available content and locate a video you'd like to include in your Playlist.
Click the video.
Select the 'Save to Favorites' text link.
Find the 'Select a Playlist' pull down menu under the 'Add Video to Playlist' heading.
Choose the Playlist you'd like to add the video to and click 'OK.'
Click 'Playlists' at any time to view the content saved in each Playlist you've set up.
Hit the 'Share This Playlist' button to send to friends and family.
Download iTunes, if desired. If you would like to use the popular Apple software to play your MP4 files, go to brothersoft and download the iTunes. Once downloaded, install the software and you are ready to go. Simply open your MP4 videos from within the iTunes application.
Download an alternative media player. If you do not wish to use iTunes, other media players that will player MP4 video include VLC Player, KMPlayer and WinAmp. VLC Player is the most popular of these because it plays just about every format of video available. It is also available for both Windows and Mac. To download, go to the official product site and download the appropriate version. Install, and you are ready to go.
Play the video. For VLC Player, start the media player to open up the program's interface. Click "File," then click the "Open file" option. Click "Browse" at the end of the first white line at the top of the window. Navigate through the videos on your computer until you find the MP4 video you would like to play. Click "OK" and the player will begin playing your video.
Open the MP4 file with VLC Media Player. Download and install the program, then open it. Drag and drop the MP4 video into the player to view it.
Open the MP4 file with iTunes. Download and install the program, then open it. Click the "Movies" button. Drag and drop the MP4 file into iTunes, then click "Play Movie."
Open the MP4 video file with Quicktime. Download and install the program, then open it. Drag and drop the MP4 file into the player to view it.
Download and install a media splitter.
Open Windows Media Center. Select "My Videos" and navigate to the MP4 you want to open.
(If you are using Windows 7, you may be able to play the MP4, as Windows 7 supports some MPEG file types.)
Close Windows Media Center, if you were unable to open the MP4.
Download and install a codec. The codec software should load with a default setting that will allow it to open an MP4.
Open Windows Media Center. Select "My Videos" and navigate to the MP4 you want to open. The MP4 should now play.
Try out Apple's iTunes. While iTunes is primarily a music player, the software has expanded to handle video files as well, and can support MP4 files. This said, iTunes sometimes has a difficult time handling HD MP4 files, though this is somewhat dependent on the performance of your computer. You can download iTunes for free from Apple's website.
Install Quicktime when you install iTunes. Quicktime is bundled with the iTunes installer and can be installed when you install iTunes, if you choose. Contrary to popular belief, this is not done to press Quicktime on you, rather it is bundled with iTunes to provide features to iTunes, such as audio exporting. Quicktime is very capable of handling MP4 files, due to Apple's heavy involvement in the development of the standard.
Try VLC. VLC is a cross-platform media player that can handle nearly any file type, including MP4. You can download VLC for free from from Videolan's website.
Consider installing Haali Media Splitter if you wish to watch MP4 files with Windows Media Player. Haali Media Splitter is a driver that gives MP4 support to Windows Media Player.
Download and install VLC Media Player, QuickTime or iTunes.
Open the program.
Click "File" at the top of the program. A drop-down menu will appear. Select "Open" or "Open File." A window will open. Proceed to Step 5, unless you are using VLC Media Player. VLC users must go to Step 4.
Click the "Browse" tab inside the open window. The "Browse" window will open.
Search through all of the files and folders in the window. Click the MP4 video you want to play and click "Open." The MP4 will start playing.
Go to www.videolan.org and click on the "Download" link to download VLC player. There is a PC and MAC version to choose from.
Install VLC player on your computer.
Right-click on the MP4 file you would like to play, and select "Open With..." Then click on VLC player from the list of applications. VLC player will launch and your movie will begin.
Download, install and open VLC Media Player.
Click "File" and then "Open."
Find your MP4 file, click it and then click "Open." Your MP4 video should start.
Download, install and open Media Player Classic.
Click "File" and then "Open."
Find your MP4 file, click it and then click "Open." Your video should start.
Download, install and open Zoom Player.
Click "File" and then click "Open."
Find your MP4 file, click it and then click "Open." Your video should start.
Open QuickTime.
Click "File." Select "Open File." A window appears.
Click the name of the MP4 in the QuickTime window that you want to play.
Click "Open." The MP4 plays in QuickTime.
Right-click the MP4 file that's saved on the computer. A menu appears next to the MP4.
Highlight the "Open With" option. A second menu appears.
Click "iTunes." The iTunes program opens, and the MP4 plays in iTunes.
Open VLC Player.
Click "File." Choose "Open File." An "Open" window appears.
Click "Browse" to the far right of the "Open" white line inside the window. A window opens.
Click the MP4 in the window.
Click "OK." The MP4 plays in VLC Player.
