Maxthon Browser does not contain any Adware or Spyware though it completely free.

If you found any Adware or Spyware in the installer of Maxthon Browser, please report to our forum where you download it.

Please always download and install Maxthon Browserfrom our Official Website to keep your computer safe.

Maxthon Browser has a build-in Ad Hunter which blocks popup windows & remove possible ads banners etc. by default.

Thus some script files and objects on the web page may become unavailable and scripts in that page cannot access them on execution, then the script error will appear.

You can find out what has been blocked by click on the Ad Hunter icon on the status bar and select "View Blocked Items...”

And you can disable the Popup Blocker and the Content Filter via that icon if you don't want to remove ads on the web page.

You can create a unique browser by installing Skins, Plugins, Filter Packs and etc. for Maxthon Browser.

Generally, you can find and install them at Maxthon Addons Website.

Choose "Open" when the download prompts dialog shows up, and then click "Install".

Currently supported file types are:

   .m2s - Skin Pack

   .m2p - Plugin Pack

   .m2f - Filter Pack

   .m2l - Language Pack

You can find an "Uninstall Maxthon" icon in the Program Group of Maxthon. Click it and follow the instructions to uninstall Maxthon Browser.
