this related to admin privileges. Your windows user permissions isn’t not the higher. Then it can’t update without permissions.

open your Lingoes installation folder. Find the "compatibility file" button, click it.

It’ll open “compatibility folder” that looks like a install document. Copy all those files to the Lingoes installation folder. Then delete your “compatibility folder”. Reinstall Lingoes. There you go.
