Orbit is quite a different downloader because it use a new tech called "P2SP".
P2P means peer to peer. Orbit adds a "S" in it, "S" means server. Actually it's a most important part. Usually it downloads from server and when the server is not online, it will download from other peers!

No, Orbit Downloader is just a downloader, not a p2p sharing program. It will accelerate your download speed, and also enable you download content directly from any web pages and store it to your pc.

I dont think so.
It’s more of what Download helper for Firefox does download YouTube videos and the like.

Orbit downloader supports P2P file sharing.

The biggest difference between Orbit and limewire is that Orbit has not a resources community.But you can download files from any other web pages. just copy and paste the downloading .exe link to orbit download address bar. it'll download that files.
