  • Auslogics Disk Defrag is one of the best defrag tool out there. I have been using it for the past 3 years and use it every week to defragment my disk drives. The defrag mechanism is infinitely faster than my standard Windows XP defrag utility. Also Auslogics Disk Defrag is free and it's got the highest rating on cnet.com.

Tip: To move system files to the faster tracks of the disk make sure you check the "Move system files to the beginning of the disk" checkbox under Program Settings - Algorithms. This will speed up both your boot time and your computer's overall performance.
