Do you remember I'm seeking you (ICQ)?

It used to be the best because none messenger at that time. Now it's still running but its competitors runs faster.

Yes you can. When you send your friends an SMS from your PC with ICQ, your friends can SMS back from their mobile directly to your ICQ message window.

Do the following:
1.Right-click the name of your friend and select Start > Video Call. By default, the video session opens in a separate window. Your friend must accept the invitation for the video session to begin.
2.Once your invitation has been accepted, the video session can begin.
You can also start a video chat by clicking the Video chat button in the message window.

Why can I not hear my friend when we use ICQ Voice Chat?

This is probably because their microphone volume is low. To solve this, ask your friend to increase their microphone volume level.
Do the following:
Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double click Sound and Audio Devices.
Select the Audio tab and click the Volume button in the Sound recording section.
Move the microphone volume slider up, until you hear each other properly.

Do the following:
Right-click the name of the friend you want to start an ICQ voice chat with, and select Start > Voice Call.
By default, the voice session opens in a separate window. Your friend has to accept the invitation for the voice session to begin.
Once your invitation has been accepted, the voice call can begin.
You can also start a voice chat by clicking the Audio chat button in the message window.

There was a DB wipe some years back and they failed to retrieve alot of data - some people losing 5 and 6 digit accounts.
Do you still have access to the old email address? If so you should be able to retrieve the password if it is still active.

The minimum system requirements are:
Pentium III 900 MHz at least, preferably Pentium IV
50 MB of disk space
512 MB of available RAM
Recommended browser: Internet Explorer 7 or above, Firefox
Active internet connection
Windows XP (supports SP2), Vista, Windows 7
Flash 9 (recommended Flash 10)

It’s a very simple process.you just need to follow the steps mentioned below:In Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
1.Choose System Preferences from the Apple ( ) menu.
2.Click Security.
3.Click on the Firewall tab.
4.If “Allow all incoming connections” is selected, the firewall is off, so you can stop right here.
5.If “Allow only essential services” is selected, select “Set access for specific services and applications”.
6.Click the + button.
7.Hold down the key, and while holding that down, drag Adium from the Dock (at the bottom of the screen) to the Open sheet.
8.Click Add.
9.The column on the right should read, for Adium's row, “Allow incoming connections”. If if it reads “Block incoming connectins”, click on it, then change it to “Allow”.

You can customize the contacts display in your contacts list. You can also display or hide user avatars, user groups and offline contacts.

Follow these steps:

Click Menu > My tools > Settings.

In the Settings window, click Contact list in the Customization list on the left.

In the right pane select the required options and click OK.

In the Contacts tab, right-click the Add contacts or group icon, and select Import contacts.

Select where you want to import contacts from.

Enter your contact email and password that is registered with the selected service.

Click Find to load these contacts into your ICQ contact list.

Try to disconnect and reconnect to ICQ.

If it's possible, try to ask your friend disconnect and reconnect to ICQ too.

This might fix it.
