I got error "Packed data CRC failed in volume name. The volume is corrupt"! 07/20/2011 01:16 by KatyAmeglio: This morning I open my files with Winrar. Check to see if you have got the recent version. You need the latest version, you know winrar has fixed their bugs every time they moves onto a new version.

And you need to find which file has been damaged after archiving. However, this might not easy to do. Just update your winrar. This will be fine.

The message “CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt” is always displayed if the file data are damaged. Right click to find the repair button.

It's hard to tell which one is crashed, your file or the winrar program if you don't give enough information here. Try to open other documents with winrar. If your files are opened successfully, then winrar runs without any problem. Just fix your file.
