How to transfer emails from Thunderbird back to the web-based server?

I was wondering if it was possible to transfer all my messages from Thunderbird back to the web-based email (Comcast), and if so, how?

  • You can't send back the ones that have been already deleted from the server. To fix this for new emails, you need to find and select the option to "Leave a copy of messages on the server".
In Thunderbird, click Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings > check boxes "Leave messages on server" > "Until I delete them".
