    1. Close PowerPoint and any other applications you might have open. Press the Windows Key and "R" on your keyboard. Type "Regedit" and press "Enter."

    2. Click on the "Hkey_Current_User" folder, and then click "Software." Select "Microsoft," and then "Office," and then the numbered version of your Microsoft Office software. For example Office 2007 is version "12.0." Then click on "PowerPoint" and finally "Options."

    3. Click on the "Edit" menu then click "New" and choose "DWORD Value." Type out "ExportBitmapResolution" and press "Enter."

    4. Select the new DWORD and click the "Edit" menu and then "Modify." Type "300" in the box labeled "Value Data." Choose "Decimal" then click "OK."

    5. Click "File," then click "Exit." Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to save as images. Click the "Office Button" which is the circle in the upper left of the PowerPoint window. Point to "Save As" then click "Other Formats." Choose an image type from the drop-down menu labeled "Save As Type." For example select "JPEG" or "TIFF." Give the image a name and click "Save." Choose if you want to save all the slides or just the current slide in the dialog box that pops up.
