    1. Open your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser. Click "Tools" from the top menu bar.
    2. Select "Manage Add-Ons" if you are using Internet Explorer. For Firefox, select "Add-Ons."
    3. Look underneath the "Extensions" tab. Click the RealPlayer plug-in extension to highlight it.
    4. Click "Disable."
    Uninstall Completely
    1. Click your Windows "Start" button.
    2. Select "Control Panel."
    3. Click "Programs" and "Uninstall a Program."
    4. Locate the RealPlayer plug-in within the list of installed programs. Click the RealPlayer plug-in to highlight it.
    5. Click "Uninstall." If you receive a prompt asking you to confirm, select "Yes" or "Continue." The plug-in will automatically uninstall from your computer.
