1. Open a Web browser, and go to the Microsoft Download Center. Click "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer."
2. Click "Download." Double-click "dxwebsetup.exe" once it finishes the download. Click "Run" on the Security Warning window if necessary.
3. Click "I Accept the Agreement" when the DirectX install wizard appears. Choose whether or not to install the Bing bar, and click "Next." Click "Next" to confirm the components being installed. Click "Finish."
