1. Revive deleted files with EASEUS Deleted File Recovery. In this free program, select the compact flash drive and view thumbnail images of the deleted files. When you find the ones you want, click on them and press "Restore."
2. Retrieve files with Recuva. Using this free program, the menus are all in one window. At the top of the program, select the drive. A list of all the deleted files will display below. Click on the files you want to retrieve and left-click on "Restore."
3. Restore files with eIMAGE Recovery. As of August 2010, eIMAGE costs $27 and will recover deleted and formatted files. Select the drive from the menu, find the files you want and click "Restore."
