    1. Finish typing your assignment

    2. Click the "Edit" Tab at the top of the screen

    3. Find and click "Replace"

    4. In the "Find what" box, type "." (a period)

    5. In the "Replace with" box, type "." (another period)

    6. Click the "More" button. More options should appear under the original window.

    7. Select the "Format" button at the bottom of the window.

    8. Select "Font" from the drop-menu

    9. Select font-size "14" (If your paper assignment requires the main body of your text to be something other than 12-point font, select 2 font sizes above the required size. For example, if your professor wants you to write in 10-point font, select font-size 12 for your new periods.)

    10. Click "OK"

    11. Click the "Replace All" button

    12. Microsoft Word will tell you how many replacements it made. Click "OK"

    13. Voila! Your paper should be noticeably longer. Remember, the more periods you have, the longer your paper will appear.

  • Just so you know, some anal retentive teachers can tell the difference. What this does is it ever so slightly changes the spacing of the lines, if a teacher is crazy enough they will notice. Sometimes try sneaking and writing 13 pnt font, if you don't need much extra help will work. Happy Length-Fropping!

  • Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.
