Open your Web browser and navigate to the Avisynth page
Click the green "Download" button to download the Avisynth installation application to your computer.
Run the downloaded installation file to initialize the Avisynth installation wizard.
Select a language from the drop-down list and click "OK," then click "I Agree" to accept the licensing agreement.
Click the "Next" button, then click "Install" to install Avisynth to your computer. Click "Next" and "Finish" to complete installation.
Navigate to the folder that contains your AVS video file.
Double-click the AVS file. Windows Media Player will initiate and begin playing the video.
Sorry but I followed these instructions step by step, and on step 7 that doesn't work at all.
I see that .avs files are linked to wmp 6.5 that I don't have, and when I try to open it in wmp 12 it says that it can't open the file.
