Stop the SopCast software and restart it. Restart your computer, then re-download and install the newest version of SopCast.

Open your firewall program and make sure that SopCast is allowed to access the Internet.

P2P 'experts'are saying do NOT open your computer when using anything P2P.How can you be recommending opening your firewall for Sopcast.I would say,'Only use it on a computer you are using only for sopcast and do your other stuff on an other computer.

Close all non-essential programs so that you only have the SopCast program open on your computer.
