    1. Open Publisher. To create rounded corners on an existing document, click the "File" tab, select "Open," browse to the file and double-click it. Otherwise, double-click one of Publisher's templates, such as the "Blank 8.5 x 11" option.

    2. Scroll to a photo to use for the rounded corners or add one by clicking the "Insert" tab and selecting the "Picture" button below the tab. Browse to an image and double-click the file name, which adds the image to the Publisher workspace.

    3. Click the picture one time to highlight it and open the pink "Picture Tools" tab at the top of the screen.

    4. Click the third option, rounded corners, on the "Picture Styles" section of the ribbon/toolbar at the top of the screen. The picture automatically changes to have rounded corners.

    5. Save the Publisher document with a new name to preserve the original, or name a new document and save it to the computer.

  • Which version of Publisher is this? Do not see anything that references "Picture Tools".

  • I want rounded corners on a text box, not a photo. How do I do that?

  • You have to insert a shape (choose the rounded rectangle from shapes).  Once the shape is there, then insert a text box into the shape and you have a rounded corner text box.  You can format the text box and fill as usual.

  • Adding rounded corners to your photos and borders in Microsoft Publisher 2013 creates a warm, friendly layout. Many designers believe round-cornered rectangles are easier on the eyes and more inviting to readers. Publisher makes it simple to added rounded corners to your photos and other images; you can even go the extra step of adding beveling to create a raised image with rounded edges. You can also create text and page borders with rounded corners.
