How to make Opera open a new tab without auto-switching to that new tab? 07/19/2011 05:25 by JohnEverard: When I open a new tab from a link, Opera auto-switch to this new tab. How can I stop this?? Right click the link and then choose "open in background tab" instead of clicking on"open in new tab".

Ctrl + Shift + Click would do

1. Nightlight and Ctrl + C to copy the link.
2. Hold Ctrl + T to open a new tab.
3. Ctrl+v or just paste the link on the address bar. Enter.
