Is there a way to make avi files playable using nero? I have nero but not the nero vision. Trying in many formats but it did not recognize them.

  • If your DVD player support Divx AVI playback(Ex. PHL DVP3140/37), you can burn it then play.
If your DVD player is normal home DVD player, you must find a Video DVD Creator.

  • Follow this:
    I) Run Nero.
II) Drag-drop your video files onto the tool
    III) Click the [Convert] button
    There you go.

  • At Nero, goto New, Create a DVD video disk
then drag and drop the AVI files.
Doing it this way isn't the BEST quality though. Just convenient.
Note that Nero will proceed to convert the video. Depending on how powerful the PC is, this can take 4-6 hours on a Pentium4.

  • Get Nero Vision, or DVD Creator, Nero won't do that.

  • Use doremisoft DVD maker if Nero cannot recognize the avi files.
