How to install adobe acrobat reader 10 when 6 is installed? 07/20/2011 00:41 by ThomasOakes: I had adobe reader 6 installed. And I’m trying to install adobe reader 10 but failed. It asked me to insert adobe reader disk in drive. But I lost the CD from where I installed it. Unistall adobe acrobat reader 6 and then install adobe acrobat reader 10.

The uninstallation might be stopped as you said, to fix this you can install a Unistaller software. Or just get a free registry remover to clean up registry of adobe acrobat reader 6.

Reboot your computer. Install adobe acrobat reader 10.

you could deal with this two ways:

First one, uninstall the Adobe 6 by restart your computer. After it was removing away, install adobe 10.

Or you could upgrade it to version 10. Adobe 6 might have a option upgrade, click it.

I have the same probem here. Can't install adobe acrobat reader cause the older version asked me for a cd for remove programs.
