I need a little help using microsoft photo editor. I open "my pictures "then I right click on the picture....I proceed to "open with " to microsoft editor. After that it says error reading file. I think I need to shrink the picture but I don't know what to do. All I want is to crop the picture. Thanks

See if you can open the image with Paint (Programs>Accessories>Paint).
If you get an error, the file is damaged.
Otherwise, you might be able to crop it in Paint (depending on your version of Windows).
Last thing to try: reinstall photo editor. But that's not likely the fix.
So you just want to crop your photo, right? If your photo editor didn't work, you could just use some free online photo editors, like fotoflexer.com, picnik.com, pixlr.com. They are very easy to use to crop photos.
Maybe your microsoft photo editor is something wrong, I dont really familiar with this editor. You could try Paint.net which is a good image editor and easy to use, and it's freeware as well.
