Download video conversion software of your choosing (see Resources) onto your computer. Double-click on the program's installer icon to begin installation. Follow the on-screen prompts and restart your computer, if prompted, to complete the installation process.
Open your video conversion software. Click on the "File" tab at the top left portion of your screen and select the option called "Add Media." Locate the Flash video file that you wish to convert and click on it. Click on the dialog box next to the "Profile" tab and select the profile titled "MPEG." This will ensure that your file is converted in the MPEG video format.
Click within the "Destination" dialog box at the bottom of the screen and select the location where you would like your MPEG video file to be saved. Point the program to the computer's desktop and press "OK."
Press the "Convert" button at the top center portion of the screen and wait as your Flash video file is converted to an MPEG. Exit the program once the conversion has completed.
