Log into your Apple computer, click "System Preferences" on the System menu, click "Startup Disk" and then select your Windows operating system and click "Restart" twice. This boots your computer into Windows, where you can perform the FAT32-to-NTFS conversion.
Click "Start" and click "All Programs."
Click "Accessories" and then click on "Command Prompt."
Type "convert X: /fs:ntfs" into the command prompt, where "X" is the drive letter of the partition you want to convert from FAT32 to NTFS. Press "Enter."

The method used here would simply be replacing the factory Fat32 volume and creating a fresh NTFS primary once you have downloaded the replacement software for unpacking that onto the drive after. It won't be needed unless you are running Mac as well Windows however.
