    1. Open Excel and click "Page Layout."

    2. Click "Page Setup" located in the "Page Setup" group.

    3. Go to the "Print Quality" list and select either "600 dpi" for publishing offline using maximum output or "300 dpi" for publishing online using low-resolution output.

    4. Click the "Microsoft Office Button" and choose "Save As." Next, select "PDF."

    5. Click "Standard (Publishing online and printing)" if you selected 600 dpi in Step 3; select "Minimum size (Publishing online)" if you selected 300 dpi in Step 3.
