Click the "Paint" button in the top left corner of the work window. Click "Open." Browse to the second of the two pictures to combine. Double-click the file name, and the image opens.
Click the "Paint" button again. Click "Properties." Type a larger number into both the "Width" and "Height" boxes so that you'll have room to see both your pictures -- otherwise, you'd simply be pasting one on top of the other. If the "Inches" radio button is not selected, click it. Click the "OK" button, and Paint extends the white space of the canvas.
Click the "Paste" button on the ribbon. The first picture appears with blue dots around it. Drag the picture into place in combination with the other, such as overlapping side to side or corner to corner.
Click the "Paint" button one final time. Click "Save As." Enter a name for the combined pictures and click the "Save" button.
