In LostDOS explorer, simply right click on the Linux ISO file & select burn to CD / DVD (depending on the size)
Nero will open & do a couple of check; if there is a writable CD or DVD in the optical drive, the burn option will be available.
nota bene: if the ISO image is NOT bootable (most Linux install or Live CDs / DVDs are, but other ISO images may not) the CD / DVD will NOT be bootable neither and making it bootable is, let's say, no trivial task...
download a bootable linux iso and install demon tool and import the iso
the demon tool is create a virtual drive and then use nero there is a
option copy cd to cd and also dvd to dvd
Have a look at the files that are on the CD (right click the CD-ROM icon
in my computer and select open). If there are a few files and folders
you have burned it correctly. If there is only the one file on the CD,
you have only copied the image file to CD and you will need to burn
another one.
Double clicking the image file that you downloaded should open Nero with
a Burn Compilation window with "CD image" selected, if so, click the
Burn button.
1 Insert a blank CD-R into your CD drive.
2 Click "Start > Programs" and select "Nero StartSmart." Nero will then open.
3 Select "Nero Burning ROM" from the Nero 8 application list.
4 Click the "New" icon on the Nero 8 toolbar.
5 Select "CD-ROM (Boot)" from the New Compilation window.
6 Select the "Image file" button and then click the "Browse" button.
7 Navigate to the location of your bootable image file and select the image. Click "Open."
8 Click "Burn" to burn the image. Note that the process may take a while to complete, so be patient. Once the disc ejects, you've successfully made a boot CD with Nero 8.
