imesh has hijacked your normal search engine bar. Basically it is hiding
on your normal search engine/bar! This happened to me. I had Google
Chrome as my default search engine and imesh kept changing it at log-in.
You need to do the following:
Uninstall/remove imesh from programs list in the usual way
Uninstall your normal search engine/bar (in my case, Google Chrome)
Reinstall your usual search engine/bar and set it as default again
If you are using firefox as your browser, you can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for iMesh via the Filter at the top of the about:config page.
You can reset all iMesh related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.
Go to your CONTROL PANEL and ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Look for iMesh and REMOVE IT.
Then .... do a SEARCH from START and look up iMesh ... delete what you
can. RESTART your computer .... that should take care of it!
If you still see an iMesh search engine after a restart, then right click on it and DISABLE it.
What's the browser you are using?
In chrome use the customise and control menu (spanner/wrench icon) and select options. The new page is divided into two sections Options on the right and Basics on the left. In the Options sections is a search box. Type in "imesh" to this box as a result of this a button should appear on the right called "Manage Search Engines". Proceed to this option and you should see a list of search engines - look for the "default" if it has a reference to imesh it is possible to delete it by hovering the mouse indicator over the highlighted bar an clicking on the "X" symbol on the right. Then appoint another search engine as the default.
