How do I make Babylon work on pdf files?

07/26/2011 06:19 by KCornell

I have adobe reader 10. I want to make Babylon translate words from a pdf file it doesn't work. How can I make them work together? Is there a solution? Thank you.

  • first uncheck this check mark
    edit=>perferenve=>general=>use only certified plug-in
    then goto this directory:
    .....\Babylon-Pro\Utils
    copy
    BabylonRPI.api
    and past in :
    ......Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\plug_ins
    close and re-open both babylon and acrobat
    and enjoy both

    • I installed Babylon 10 before Acrobat XI, so Ctl + right-click didn't work. I went trough the procedure described by SteveQueen, restarted both Acrobat and Babylon. Ctl + right-click on a word in Acrobat now brings Babylon window with proper translation. Thank you for this tip!
