How do I get my picture back after doing Picasa edit?

I was editing my photo with Picasa. Now I have the jpeg version from Picasa. How do I get my picture back after doing Picasa edit? Help, please.

  • By default, Picasa does not actually change your photo. It stores the settings you change in a hidden text file, and applies those settings when you view the photo using Picasa. Edits made with Picasa do not show up when using any other image viewer.
    Unless you changed the setting, or did a hard save using the file menu.

  • Try searching the image with your computers search function. If it has been overwritten, you couldn't get the old file back.
