How can I move Vuze from one drive to another? 09/08/2011 02:51 by justsharon: Does anyone know how I can move Vuze from one drive on my computer to another?

It is currently downloading items into the smaller drive of two on my PC. A friend set it up a few years ago and we no longer are in touch and I am hoping to move the downloading in Vuze to the larger drive so I can download larger files. If anyone can explain in simple, layman, idiot (!) terms how I do this, please do! Thanks.; First answer posted by Artemaria at 09/08/2011 02:52

If it is in the process of downloading a large file, quit Vuze or stop the download. Open Windows Explorer and Copy or Move the incomplete file to where you want. From the Vuze menu, delete the torrent file and the data. Redownload the torrent file and instruct Vuze to save it to the new location so it will continue where it left off.
You may do this for completed download too if you want to keep seeding them. For future downloads, you can set the option in Vuze use your drive.
