How can I get my Nokia XpressMusic to connect to Nokia PC Suite again?

07/20/2011 01:42 by SaideeDay

I want to connect my phone to the computer, but for the past month or so, whenever I've tried connecting my phone to Nokia PC Suite, the computer hasn't detected it. How can I fix that?

  • You can connect your mobile to computer with the bluetooth.
    1. To pair you computer with your phone, both of them need to have Bluetooth connectivity.
    2. Check your computer’s Bluetooth settings to make sure Bluetooth is turned on and your computer is discoverable.
    3. Make sure your phone has Bluetooth turned on and that it is visible to other Bluetooth devices.
    4. Select Bluetooth as the connection type when running Nokia Suite for the first time, or when adding a new phone via Tools > Add new device.
    5. Select your phone when it shows up in the list, and click Next.
    6. Enter the given passcode on your phone when prompted to pair your phone and your computer.
    7. On certain newer phones you only need to check that the passcodes match in Nokia Suite and on your phone.
    8. On your phone, accept any connection requests from your computer.
    9. Set your computer as authorised in your phone’s Bluetooth settings to allow your phone to be automatically connected when in range.

  • check if your USB cable is working. And try to remember what programs you have installed recently.

Also, start your computer in safe mode to see if your USB Cable can connect the phone to your computer.
