In rolling out Winzip to our customers, we have found a security loophole with Favorites. If a user scans the local machine and lists the folders with Winzip files in them, they can list folders/content belonging to other users who have logged on previously. It lists the other users zip files and allows you to open them.

Is there any way of disabling or removing the Favorites folder option, or renaming/deleting any dll files that Favorites uses?; First answer posted by TommyB at 10/19/2011 07:29
