Yes. Using the most recent version of FrostWire allows users to enjoy the best program functionality.

Bugs reported in older versions have been fixed for our latest version.

Any users with FrostWire 2.5 or earlier MUST update. The FrostWire program will automatically notify you if there is a new version available.

i don't understand how to use the new version 5. unlike the older versions, there's no audio search function that just pulls up the song titles. how do i search and get results for a specific song?

it's hard to get use to this new version since you have familiar with the older one. So go back to the older version is good suggestion.

The version of FrostWire you use wont matter so much as you think. Just adapt to the changing. The newer, the better.
