They do pretty much the same thing, but it is better to use the provided windows applications because they are more thorough and they are guaranteed not to give your computer a virus.

i use ccleaner all the time, u are mixing the two up kinda
defragment, takes the holes out of the hard drive address and fills them togeather
ccleaner , deletes unused and unneeded trash from the system area to free up space
windows disk cleanup does about the samething using them both is perfectly ok
