  • Before installing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4
Make sure that your system Date/Time is set correctly.
Close all applications, including all virus detection programs and applications that are open in the system tray or on the Windows taskbar. Not doing so may increase the installation time and interfere with installation.
On XP, you should be logged in as an administrator or as a user with administrative rights.
Make sure that you have enough free disk space available on the drive where you want to install the application.
To avoid file and memory conflicts, close all running programs and delete the contents of your system's TEMP folders. [C:\Documents and Settings\<Administrator>\Local Settings\Temp] and [C:\<WINNT>\Temp]
Corel recommends that you install CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 in its own directory to avoid conflicts with previous versions.

  • 1 Open the CorelDraw X4 program.

2 Click "Tools" and choose "Options." Click on the "Global" tab to access the global options menu.

3 Click the drop-down menu under "Select the language for user interface." Select the language that you'd like to be used in CorelDraw.

4 Close and restart the CorelDraw X4 application. CorelDraw will now display words in your chosen language.

  • normally, when you install CorelDRAW, you cannot change the language later. You need to de-install and re-install CorelDRAW in the correct language. Depending on where you purchased CorelDRAW and which version it is, you might actually have more than one language on the DVD, but as a general rule, the language you purchased CorelDRAW in is the language you are licensed to use CorelDRAW (e.g. the language of the box).

  • It's in the 'install' menu: you have to add/remove programs to change it I think. (it dosn't actually involve a re-install - just need to go through the process again to add the language pack)
