This error occurs due to two reasons:

You have entered incorrect data for more than ten times and the account was blocked

Or someone has intentionally blocked your account

You can reset your password from “forgot your password” assistant.

Resolution of the problem

Open the page of access to Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Messenger 2009 click Cancel storage profile to delete your user name, click Cancel to discard the storage password stored passwords. If you have stored multiple profiles users made the same procedure. If you are using Windows Live Messenger 2011 click Cancel caching user profile and password data stored, the same procedure to eliminate other profiles saved. Now enter the Windows Live data access and access to Windows Live Messenger to check whether the problem has been resolved.

If you’re sure that you are entering the correct user credentials, most probably the user credentials would have been cached in Windows Live Messenger. You should follow the steps below to delete the messenger cache:

1. Open Windows Live Messenger sign-in window

2. Select your e-mail address from the E-mail address drop-down list.

3. Click Forget Me, and then click Yes to confirm the deletion

4. Type your e-mail address and your password

5. Try to Sign-in again with your new credentials
