Can't install Roxio creator with"Setup is interrupted"?

When I'm installing Creator, following wizard, but it begins "rolling back" and then give the prompt: "Setup is interrupted".

How to fix this?

  • Here is solution:

    1. Quit the installation.
    2. Perform a Windows Update by launching Internet Explorer and selecting Tools -> Windows Update. XP users should be up to Service Pack 3 or later, and Vista users should have Service Pack 1 or later.

  • Go to your computer's Start menu > Control Panel.
    Windows XP: Select Add or Remove Programs.
    Windows Vista: Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    Uninstall "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1".
    Once this process is complete, reinstall Creator 10 CE.
    If the steps above do not resolve the issue, you may try the following steps.
    Open My Computer (or Computer for Vista users) from your Start menu.
    Go to C: drive -> Windows folder > System32 folder.
    Look for a file called dsetup.dll in the System32 folder.
    Rename the file to "dsetupOLD.dll" or delete the file.
    Reinstall Creator 10 CE and follow the on-screen instructions.
