  • When it comes to completing fractions or conducting metric conversions, very few people can do them without the assistance of a good calculator. Whether you are traveling abroad or your daily activity involves a lot of fractions and conversions, the right calculator can help you in making accurate conversions with ease. Not all calculators are created the same, however, and you need to ensure that you have a calculator that's proficient in completing fractions and making metric conversions.

This Sharp calculator comes with 44 built-in metric conversions and a 10-digit fractions display. In addition to its functionality, this calculator is easy to use and features a large display that is twin-powered through solar or battery power. The compact design allows you to keep this calculator in your pocket, while the large LCD display makes it easy to read.

    Victor Technologies 907

These functions include conversions for length, area, weight, volume, energy, temperature and capacity. This calculator is also efficient, operating primarily on solar power while using a battery for backup.

    Casio FX-9750GII
This calculator features 406 functions and more than 61 kilobytes of memory. It has a unit conversion and fraction feature, which allows the user to make metric conversions and convert fractions with a push of a button.

    Casio FX-115ES
This calculator features 279 functions, offering you all of the support you need for most mathematical operations and calculations. This unit comes equipped with more than 40 metric conversions and a variety of statistical, matrix and vector calculations. • It sounds like one of our calculators could help you, and no, I'm not in sales :-)  There are a few inexpensive conversion calcs which allow you to enter the fractions just as you would say them and be able to add multiple units all together and display results in any or all.  Useful 'how to' videos on all the products are available on the Calculated Industries YouTube channel as well as on www.calculated.com.  Also, if you have a smartphone, almost all the calcs are available as an app - works and looks almost exactly like the handheld models.  Good luck!
