Besides, many people said that PowerDVD might not support Blu-ray folders from hard drive

I have PowerDVD 9 Ultra. It supports BD. The ULTRA versions supports BD.

you can update to powerdvd 11, the latest version. It supports Blu-ray 3D.

It seems you need a virtual drive. Use nero or demon tools to create a virtual drive and mount the .BDMV file. Open Power DVD and select the virtual drive and it will play.

Run your PC and insert the Blu-ray disc you want to play, CyberLink PowerDVD will automatically play the disc.
If the Blu-ray disc has been already put in the drive, double-click the PowerDVD icon on the desktop and click "Select Source" button Choose the Blu ray disc want to play, choose "Open movie files on hard disk drive", then click to play it.

Hi did you follow the steps in the user guide on how to configure Cyber Link for Blu-ray Disc playback. If not the Cyber Link Power DVD Ultra User’s Guide can be found on the link below. It also contains technical support information. Follow the suggest route first as stated in the user guide.
