Microsoft PowerPoint helps to create Presentations while PowerPoint Viewer helps to view presentations with or without Microsoft PowerPoint installed.

Go to www.microsoft.com and download Office 2007 trial version. The instructions to make presentations are mentioned in a step-by-step procedure on microsoft's office website.

Powerpoint viewer is different from powerpoint. Powerpoint viewe reads existing Powerpoint presentations. To make your own presentations, you need Powerpoint.
