  • Foxit Reader is a pdf reader. It can't convert pdf to word. you need converter to do it.

It can convert pdf to txt via exporting the pdf content to a .txt file.

  • Foxit Reader reads pdf only as far as I know. You could download a pdf to word converter, like this one http://www.brothersoft.com/pdf-to-word-23096.html, most of the software are not free unfortunately.

  • See the software name, it's "Foxit Reader" not a "foxit converter". foxit reader wont convert pdf to word.

I recommend you a free pdf to word converter: Free PDF to Word Doc Converter 1.1. "This program can Extract text, images, shapes from PDF file to Word Doc file and preserve the layout." It works better than any other pdf converter.

Download and install Foxit, if you have not already done so.

      • 2

Open the PDF file you wish to convert by starting Foxit and selecting "Open" from the "File" menu. Use the dialog that opens to find and select your file.

      • 3

Save the file as a .txt file. Open the "Save As" dialog from the "File" menu. Select ".txt" from the drop-down "File Type" box, and specify a location to save the file.

      • 4

Launch Microsoft Word and open the .txt file you just saved using Foxit. Click "Open" from the "File" menu, then browse to the file and open it.

      • 5

Save the file as a Word document by selecting the "Save" prompt from the "File" menu. Click on "Yes" if you see a prompt asking whether you want to save the file in the most current Word format available. The file can now be edited as a regular Word document.
