It is easy to use and playback with good quality. When installing, don't forget to uncheck "instrall toolbar" option if you don't want that.

Can BS.Player play DVDs?

BS.Player FREE cannot play DVDs (but can play vob .vob files from DVD discs / hard drives / folders / network folders), while BS.Player PRO offers full DVD front end interface and complete functionality (HD, DVD menus, subtitles, languages, chapters, angles...).

BS.Player doesn't play my videos! It says "Unknown type () or "Unknown file format". Why?

You do not have the proper codec installed for the playback of this video file. You have to install the necessary codec to play any video or audio file.

Where can I find the necessary CODECS for my movie?

BS.Player includes an integrated Codec manager, which will allow you to download all missing codecs and filters quickly and easily from BS.Player itself. Whenever BS.Player detects that a media file is played for which it doesn't have the required codec, it will automatically start Codec manager - from there you can download and install the missing codec.

Try a different media player like Media Player Classic or VLC. I could get into a convoluted reason as to why your current media player isn't working, but it would be long and boring. Long story short, it's probably because of a broken codec.

Is there something wrong with your flash, and you have to play the videos with BS player? Flash fails sometimes, just copy and paste to the "open with URL", good luck

You can use SubSync to correct the subtitle file.

Why using WinDVD or PowerDVD when there much better players for media like AVI/mpeg... out. Try one of these players: Zoomplayer/MPC/TCMP/BSPlayer Everone of them is capable of changing brightness/colour/contrast

How do you find subtitle in system?

subtitles generally have extensions lyk .srt, .sub,.idx , chk in ur drives if u hve any files

with thz extensions or try using the SEARCH, if you did not find any of them then the movie would

have been hardcoded with subs or the subs r embedded, if the movie has hard code subs tht means thr is no external subtitles file, its been mixed with the movie while encoding it.
