1) Open AnyDVD through the start menu. The program will open in the taskbar. You won't need to alter any settings for the program to work with DVD Shrink.
2) Launch DVD Shrink. In the top corner, click "File" then "Open." Click the drive with the DVD and click open. The file will load into DVD Shrink. It may take a few minutes to do so. With AnyDVD running in the corner, DVD Shrink will be able to load the full video into the program. If AnyDVD wasn't running, DVD Shrink would encounter an error and the disc wouldn't load into the program.
3) Unclick any files that you don't want to include. If you don't want your Aunt Sally's 70th birthday party on the new disc, but want your Grandmother's 90th birthday, just click or unclick the correct file.
4) Click the burn button at the top. The video will be encoded onto the computer. This will most likely take 10 minutes or longer depending on the file sizes involved.
5) Once the files are converted, the DVD drive will eject the disc.
